Need help using Repetit?

This page explains the core system: creating collections, managing learning items, importing content, and understanding how the spaced repetition cycle works.

How Repetit works

Repetit is built around the Spaced Repetition System (SRS) — one of the most validated methods in cognitive science for durable memory formation and efficient long-term retention. It schedules reviews at expanding intervals based on recall performance, reducing unnecessary repetition while maximizing learning efficiency.

Each successful retrieval strengthens memory and delays the next review. Forgotten material returns sooner, ensuring weak knowledge is reinforced before it is lost.

Create collections

Build organized collections for languages, exams, medicine, law, technical knowledge, or any personal study system.

Add learning items

Each item can include front/back study sides, explanations, images, notes, audio, tags, and additional references.

Study overview

See what to study today, tomorrow, and this week. Track your progress and keep learning consistent.

How do I create a new collection?

Go to your collections area, choose the option to create a new collection, enter a title, add a cover image if desired, and save it. You can then start adding cards right away.

How do I add a flashcard?

Open a collection, choose the add card option, then fill in the front side, back side, title, description, tags, or media if needed. Save the card to include it in your study flow.

How does the review cycle work?

Repetit uses a repeating schedule across 1, 3, 7, 14, and 30 days. Remembered cards move forward. Forgotten cards return to the beginning of the cycle.

Can I import cards from a file?

Yes. Repetit supports CSV, XLSX, and text-based import options so you can build large decks more quickly instead of entering everything by hand.

Can I use audio or text-to-speech?

Yes. Depending on your plan and available features, you can attach audio, record your voice, or use text-to-speech to support pronunciation and listening-based recall.

Can I set study reminders?

Yes. Repetit allows you to configure reminders so you can return to your reviews on a schedule that fits your learning routine.

What to try if something is not working

  1. Make sure the app is updated to the latest available version.
  2. Close and reopen the app if a screen does not refresh correctly.
  3. Check file structure if CSV or XLSX import fails.
  4. Review formatting if text, audio, or tags are not displaying properly.
  5. Check notification permissions if reminders are not appearing.
  6. Contact support if the issue continues.
