First launch: create your account
Your first visit is mostly setup — it takes under two minutes and you only do it once. Here's exactly what happens:
- Sign up with email, Google, or Apple — no credit card needed for the free plan.
- Pick your interface language and, if relevant, the language you're studying.
- Take the 30-second guided tour, or skip it — you can replay it later from Settings.
- Land on your dashboard: an empty review queue, a "Create collection" button, and a stats panel that fills in as you go.
Create your first collection
A collection is a group of cards around one subject — a language, a course, an exam. Tap "New collection" and give it a name. The name matters more than people expect: a vague collection is a collection you'll neglect.
Everything from Spanish verbs to work notes ends up mixed together — impossible to focus a session.

Add your first card
Inside your new collection, tap "Add card." Every card has two sides: a front (the question) and a back (the answer). The single most important rule for a new card — one card, one fact.

Is Repetit free to start?
Yes. You can create an account, build collections, add cards, and run reviews on the free plan with no credit card required. Paid plans unlock higher limits and extra features once you outgrow the basics.
How many cards should I create in my first week?
Start small — 20 to 40 well-written cards in one focused collection is plenty for week one. It's better to review a small deck consistently every day than to create 200 cards and abandon them after three days.
Can I import flashcards I already made somewhere else?
Yes — Repetit supports CSV and XLSX import, so a spreadsheet or an exported deck from another tool can become a full collection in seconds instead of retyping every card by hand.
What happens if I miss a day of reviews?
Nothing breaks. Overdue cards simply wait in your queue until you come back — they don't disappear or reset your whole deck. Your streak resets, but the scheduling algorithm adjusts and keeps working normally.
Does Repetit work offline?
Yes. You can review and create cards without a connection; Repetit queues the changes locally and syncs everything to your account the next time you're online.
